Quality Grooming Services

Oodles Of Poodles opened in November 2022 and has since provided premium pet grooming services for pets in the Creedmoor area. We are currently a three groomer shop. We love connecting with and caring for animals and creating everlasting relationships with our clients. We will care for your fur baby as if they were our own, and our goal is to ensure that you and your pet receive the highest quality care, and a great customer service experience. We use only premium products and quality equipment to provide a luxurious grooming experience for your pet.

How long will my dogs groom take?

This depends on many factors including age, size, coat texture and your pets temperament and services received. We focus on quality so please allow for extra time. Please allow 3-6 hours for your pet's grooming appointment. Larger pets and multiple pet appointments may take longer. For any updates on completion times during your pets grooming please call or text. Coming by early during the grooming process can make your pet anxious or excited and it may delay finishing times.

What is matting and how do I avoid it?

Essentially, matting is when your dogs hair is tangled. It can range in severity based on breed, hair texture, and how well you maintain your dog's coat in between groomings. The best way to avoid this is a slicker brush and a grey hound comb. (We recommend a Chris Christensen brush for most breeds due to their long bristles that can get through the coat to the skin. The best way to avoid matting is to brush and comb as often as you can. It can be hard to tell on some breeds if a dog is matted. The best way to tell is to run a grey hound comb through the hair. If you are unable to work a comb or brush through the coat we will be unable to get a guard through it and your dog may (depending on severity of the matting) need to be shaved to ensure the comfort and well-being of your pet.

Polices and Procedures

Matting

$30 / half hour of dematting.

In cases of severe matting, or if we feel the process is going to be an extreme discomfort for your pet, we will suggest shaving your pets matts and starting anew. If the matting is brushable we charge an additional fee starting at $30. In more severe cases an additional fee may apply. Please keep your pets brushed and combed out if you would like the coat to stay longer. Doing this will reduce stress on your pet.

Cancellations

$30 within 24 hours

All cancellation requests must be made a minimum of 24 hours prior to the scheduled appointment time.

No shows and same day cancellations

Full cost of service

All no-shows and same day cancellations will be charged between 100% of the total quoted price for the missed appointment. For any subsequent no-shows, we will require that you provide a credit card on file and pre-pay for any future appointments.

Late policy

Please let us know if you are running behind. Life happens, chances are I’ll still be able to get you in and make adjustments. In some situations we may need to reschedule.
